UPDATE #53

A Drop of Light from Zion.

Update  53 – Learning the word of God.

Two New Classrooms Are Rising — Generosity That Builds Worlds of Learning

Dear brothers and sisters in faith, a thousand blessings from the Holy Land.

You are the heart—and we are the hands and the feet; together we are one body, uniting prayers and deeds for His Glory, serving in the Land of Israel—the Promised Land, the Holy Land.

“A noble person plans noble things, and by noble deeds he stands.” (Isaiah 32:8)

Thanks to your generosity, a challenging project has risen—the construction of two new classrooms for a school that so deeply needed proper learning space. The rooms are fully equipped, each with air conditioning: relief in our searing summers and safe heating in the winter for our little ones. The dedication signs are already in place, blessing the children in the donors’ names; photos of the signs and the process (infrastructure, installation, finishing) will appear in this update.

Giving that Educates for Generations

This is a long‑term investment: for the teachers, a professional and moving experience that elevates the quality of instruction; for the children, a gift they will remember all their lives. They grow up experiencing the generosity of their “uncles and aunts” overseas—that is how they refer to the donors—and it becomes a life‑lesson: not only to love and obey the Creator of the universe, but also to learn to give, not only to receive.

He who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay his good deed.” (Proverbs 19:17)

Moving Forward Together

With God’s help, we will continue to accompany the school so that the classrooms are used to their fullest for years ahead: library and learning resources, safe and appropriate technology, ongoing maintenance, and an ever‑improving learning environment—a continuing partnership that connects believers to the people of Israel in love, prayer, and action.

A verse of strength and blessing for the donors

“Blessed is the one who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive; he will be called blessed upon the earth; do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.” (Psalm 41:2–3)

Prayer for the Donors and Those Who Pray

Master of the universe, the One who does good and gives life, bless all the donors and intercessors for Sabra’s projects. Grant them protection, health, good livelihood, and joy of heart, and multiply merit for every child who will study, grow, and shine in these classrooms. May blessing rest upon the work of their hands, and may it be fulfilled in them: “He who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay his good deed.” Amen.

May you always merit to be among the givers—in love, wisdom, and joy; may blessing rest in your homes, and may you see delight from all your children and grandchildren for every act of kindness you have done for the children of Israel.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you, your family, and your community.

From the House of Good Deeds (Sabra House), the Land of Zion, and the City of Jerusalem,

Your brother in Israel,

Mordechai ben Yaakov
