UPDATE # 49 “Children of Hope”

Children of Hope: “Great Shall Be the Peace of Your Children”

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13)

Shalom and blessings, dear friends around the world,

In a time when sirens and running to shelters replaced school bells, the children of Israel completed a particularly challenging school year. Now, as the summer vacation begins, many children—especially those in schools we support—do not have the means to go on trips, join camps, or participate in activities like other children.

One of the schools we support is a religious Orthodox Talmud Torah that receives no support from the government or municipality. There, the children sing, pray, and learn Torah joyfully. We help them with food, non-digital social games, study materials, and classroom design.

Recently, the school principal turned to us with an urgent request:
Can we help build two portable classrooms—nicely designed and air-conditioned containers adapted for learning?
The cost of construction, setup, and basic equipment is about €13,000.
To this, we must add furniture—tables, chairs, and cabinets—at an additional cost of around €12,000.

We are praying that we will be able to help so that these children can begin the school year with the knowledge that they are not alone. That around the world there are brothers and sisters who love the God of Israel and the people of Israel – His chosen nation – who pray for them and support them in love.

Joy in the Heart – A Family’s Blessing with Their Children from Amsterdam

While I was in the Netherlands, we received a generous donation from a wonderful family in Amsterdam – a large quantity of LEGO games. We invited the school principal to collect the gift. To our surprise, he arrived with six excited children. The children danced, sang, and praised the Creator with open hearts and shining faces. They sang Psalm 100:
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”

We filmed the joy, the blessings, and the dancing, and the children asked me to write a letter of thanks and blessing to the donors. There is great power in a child’s heartfelt blessing—with a spark in the eyes and tears of joy.

Verses of Blessing and Encouragement
• “One who brings joy to children is like one who builds a whole world.”
• “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.” (Based on Psalm 112)
• “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

A Short Prayer

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
Bless Your innocent children, the teachers who teach with love, and all our brothers and sisters who extend a helping hand.
Open the gates of blessing and provision so we may build more classrooms and create a space worthy of learning, singing, and prayer.

And for all the donors – may it be Your will to fill their homes with light, their families with peace, and their hearts with joy.
Reward them double for all they have given, and allow them to see blessing and satisfaction in all their endeavors.
Grant them strength, grace, and kindness – and may peace be within their walls and tranquility within their homes.

Final Blessing
May you be privileged to see good fruit from your labors, and joy in all your actions.
And wherever you are – may the Divine Presence rest upon you.

“Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.” (Psalm 122:7)
“May He send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion.” (Psalm 20:2)
