Holocaust Memorial Day

Close to the Holocaust Memorial day 6th of May 2024

Dear friends,

The 6th of May is the day we remember the Holocaust. It is the day we remind each other of what has happened, and remember all the victims. We are standing together with beloved holocaust survivors supporting and encouraging them and praying for them.

Like every year, we will arrange a gathering in Sabra house this year, too, and join all together in this important and deeply touching event.

It is really important to remember that the number of holocaust survivors still alive is diminishing day by day. There are not so many with us any more. This is exactly the reason why we must, both physically and spiritually, stand with them, encourage them.

Every prayer you pray is like lighting a candle. Your encouragements and all your support have a really huge and important meaning.

On Israel’s Holocaust Memorial Day, we stand together, Jews and non-Jews, and remember those who were murdered by gas, starvation, disease, firing squads, and torture; as well as those trapped in the concentration camps and  who somehow survived. We also remember those who escaped the deadly dragnet (often miraculously) and hid in plain sight, and who joined the underground resistance.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you.
