    UPDATE #56

    September 30, 2025 (Sabra House)
“A Drop of Light from Zion”

Update No. 56 in YAD VASHEM Memorial Ceremony for the Victims of Babi Yar

Shalom and blessings to you, my dear brothers and sisters around the world.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, I participated in the memorial ceremony for the victims of Babi Yar, Babi Yar ravine, near Kyiv, Ukraine. There, in the ravine near Kyiv, Ukraine, one of the most horrifying crimes in human history took place. On September 29 and 30, 1941, 33,771 Jews—men, women, and children—were shot to death by the Nazis and their collaborators. In the following two years, until 1943, the ravine became a pit of death, where a total of about 100,000 people were murdered—Jews, together with Roma, prisoners of war, and others.

In that place, the image of God in man was trampled, and only pure evil remained. As it is written:
“What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him?” (Psalm 8:4).
When man cuts himself off from his Creator, he loses his humanity as well.

One of the shocking facts is that the youngest victim was a newborn baby only three days old, while the oldest was a Jew of 103 years. The horror of generations.

At the ceremony, I met a precious survivor, Michael, now 92 years old, who was saved by a wondrous miracle. As a little child, his parents were murdered, and he was left alone. A Christian neighbor, full of compassion, took him into her home. But when the order came to bring all the Jews to Babi Yar, she too was driven there together with the boy. One of the soldiers noticed she was not Jewish and shouted: “What are you doing here? Only Jews are to be here!”
Michael recounted that out of sheer terror she became speechless—her mouth was literally closed, and she could not utter a word. The soldier, angry, pushed her away and commanded: “Take the child and get out!”—thus her life, and the child’s life, were spared.
As it is written: “Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:4).

On behalf of the Sabra Foundation, I laid a wreath in memory of the victims. This is not symbolic alone. Part of Sabra’s vision is to help Holocaust survivors—not only on memorial days but throughout the year—supporting them physically, morally, and emotionally, offering some comfort in the evening of their lives.

At the ceremony were present government ministers, members of the Knesset, the chairman of Yad Vashem, heads of organizations, and relatives of the murdered. Yet most moving of all were the Holocaust survivors themselves—fewer and fewer remain, their bodies frail, their souls still wounded.

To you, dear readers, I want to emphasize: when we speak of “millions,” we must never forget that each one was a whole world. Every person had a name—a name given by parents, a name carrying identity and soul. From the very beginning of creation it is written:
“And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field.” (Genesis 2:20).
If names for the animals mattered—how much more the names of human beings, created in God’s image.

Therefore, in our own days, we must not lose the sensitivity of heart. To remember that every person is created in the image of God. The world once again faces waves of hatred and antisemitism—but we, as believers in the God of Israel, are called to stand firm in faith, to remember, to tell, and to strengthen Israel, that it may live and flourish in the Land of Zion and Jerusalem.

    Prayer and Blessing:

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, comfort the broken hearts of the Holocaust survivors. Guard them in the remainder of their days, and give us the courage to resist evil and strengthen the people of Israel.
As it is written: “Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.” (Psalm 71:9).
And to you, dear reader—may the Lord bless you with a year of inner light, of strong faith, and of divine protection over you and all your household.
May this new year be a year of deeper connection with the God of Israel and with the people of Israel—standing together in faith, love, and unity.
As it is written: “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” (Numbers 6:24–26).
    Amen.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you, your family, and your community.

UPDATE # 55 -Strength and Faith — The Deeds of the Guardians of Life

A Drop of Light from Zion

Update 55 – Strength and Faith — The Deeds of the Guardians of Life

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, KJV)

Shalom and blessings, beloved friends around the world—lovers of the God of Israel and the people of Israel.
“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” (Psalm 90:17, KJV)

On September 18, 2025, we visited one of the IDF Home Front Command bases to bless the soldiers for the New Year.

This unit is unique in that it serves not only Israel’s civilians—it also assists around the world. They have helped victims of earthquakes when homes collapsed and people were trapped under the rubble. They have served extensively within Israel, and also aided civilians beyond Israel’s borders.

At present, part of the unit is serving in Gaza, where they are setting up shelters and tent areas and even clinics to assist civilians. Their work is difficult, exhausting, and life-threatening. At Sabra, we see this as a mission of mercy and a supreme effort.

As in the past, we stand by them now as well—supporting soldiers in various ways. On this visit we heard an urgent request: about 100 soldiers need warm clothing for the very cold nights where they are stationed, even as the days are very hot. They are reservists who have been away from their families for over 160 days. We are praying and seeking donors to help them so they can fulfill their mission.

We also help the families of lone soldiers who truly need assistance—and we do so on an ongoing basis.

For our visit we brought a New Year blessing gift: a wicker basket containing apples, a pomegranate, a jar of honey, a small bottle of sweet wine for Kiddush, and a festive letter explaining the meaning of Rosh Hashanah from the Bible—together with a greeting from the Sabra team and from believers around the world.

Some of the commanders and soldiers—new to the unit—heard from us for the first time about believers worldwide who love the God of Israel and the people of Israel. They said: “We knew that most of the world is against Israel, but we did not know there are communities everywhere praying for us and supporting us.”

How wonderful to open their eyes and show them there are those who love and stand with them. This reminds us of the LORD’s words to Elijah:

“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.” (1 Kings 19:18, KJV)

If then there were seven thousand who remained faithful, today—thank God—there are many, many multiples of believers who belong to the Lord of all the earth. He who dwells in the heavens looks upon and sees each one.

And as the prophet Isaiah says:

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.” (Isaiah 35:5, KJV)
Thanks be to God who opens the eyes of the blind and reveals His grace in every generation.
So you, beloved believer—be filled, be filled with faith and hope; there is reward in heaven for every seed of love and mercy you sow.

    Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, Shield of Israel and our righteousness, we pray before You: guard the soldiers of Israel who bear such a heavy burden. Grant them courage and strength, health and steadfastness. Fill their hearts with joy and their homes with peace. Bless also their families—especially the lone soldiers—that they lack nothing. May we all merit a year of mercy and protection, and may we hear the trumpet-call of salvation. Amen.

May the New Year be for you a year of protection and blessing, of love and health, and may the Name of the LORD shine upon you always. Just as the soldiers were encouraged by the blessing they received—so may you be filled with faith and hope, knowing that you are a faithful partner in this holy work.

A Drop of Light from Zion

Another Year, Another Life, Another Hope for Holocaust Survivors

Shalom and blessings, beloved friends around the world—lovers of the God of Israel and the people of Israel.

On September 19, 2025, in the city of Nof HaGalil, a special event was held for Holocaust survivors, organized by the Sabra team and its volunteers.

The days before Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, remind us of the heartfelt cry of King David:

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.” (Psalm 71:9, KJV)

In these sacred days, we were given a special privilege: the Sabra team and its volunteers were asked by the Municipality of Nof HaGalil to organize a festive event for Holocaust survivors in the city. The coordinator of the group, himself elderly and weary, asked us to help—and we responded with hearts full of love.

The event was held in full cooperation with the municipality. The Sabra team prepared tables filled with food, pastries, and drinks, and every survivor received a beautiful gift basket containing apples, a pomegranate, a jar of honey, sweet wine for Kiddush, and a greeting card for the New Year—also in your name, our beloved brothers and sisters around the world.

A group of survivors from the nearby city of Migdal HaEmek asked to join as well, and so the circle of light and joy expanded. The event was graced with greetings from city officials, a national activist for Holocaust survivors, and myself—representing Sabra and you, our dear believing friends around the world.

The words of the survivors touched us deeply. “We have never received such care before”—so many of them said.

One of the most moving moments was when Ida, a Holocaust survivor, 90 years old, disabled and frail, managed to attend despite her hardships. With tears in her eyes she said: “I have not left my home all year, and today—thanks to you—I feel younger by one year. The word ‘thank you’ is too small to explain my feelings. Tell all your friends that they are now also my friends.”

Here we see the power of the Holy Spirit through the wisest of men:

“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” (Ecclesiastes 11:1, KJV)

What we sow here and now—an investment of love, compassion, and honor—is recorded in heaven for our merit. The day will come when we will see its fruit, both in this world and in the world to come. This event is living proof: every smile, every gift basket, every kind word—are seeds of light that bear fruit.

And you, the believers around the world, partners in this holy work—through your prayers, encouragement, helping hand, and contributions—you are full partners. Every blessing and every tear of joy from the Holocaust survivors is written also in your account before God.

    Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, faithful to His people in every generation, we pray before You: grant strength and health to the Holocaust survivors, fill their loneliness with peace and joy, and bless them with more years of dignity, hope, and love. May it be Your will that we always sound the trumpet of mercy and kindness—in Israel and across the world. Amen.

May the New Year be for you a year of love, health, and joy. Just as the Holocaust survivors were uplifted by the light upon our faces—so may you, our dear brother and sister, see new light in your life and know that you are a faithful partner in this holy work of mercy.

Update  53 – Learning the word of God.

Two New Classrooms Are Rising — Generosity That Builds Worlds of Learning

Dear brothers and sisters in faith, a thousand blessings from the Holy Land.

You are the heart—and we are the hands and the feet; together we are one body, uniting prayers and deeds for His Glory, serving in the Land of Israel—the Promised Land, the Holy Land.

“A noble person plans noble things, and by noble deeds he stands.” (Isaiah 32:8)

Thanks to your generosity, a challenging project has risen—the construction of two new classrooms for a school that so deeply needed proper learning space. The rooms are fully equipped, each with air conditioning: relief in our searing summers and safe heating in the winter for our little ones. The dedication signs are already in place, blessing the children in the donors’ names; photos of the signs and the process (infrastructure, installation, finishing) will appear in this update.

    Giving that Educates for Generations

This is a long‑term investment: for the teachers, a professional and moving experience that elevates the quality of instruction; for the children, a gift they will remember all their lives. They grow up experiencing the generosity of their “uncles and aunts” overseas—that is how they refer to the donors—and it becomes a life‑lesson: not only to love and obey the Creator of the universe, but also to learn to give, not only to receive.

He who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay his good deed.” (Proverbs 19:17)

    Moving Forward Together

With God’s help, we will continue to accompany the school so that the classrooms are used to their fullest for years ahead: library and learning resources, safe and appropriate technology, ongoing maintenance, and an ever‑improving learning environment—a continuing partnership that connects believers to the people of Israel in love, prayer, and action.

A verse of strength and blessing for the donors

“Blessed is the one who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive; he will be called blessed upon the earth; do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.” (Psalm 41:2–3)

Prayer for the Donors and Those Who Pray

Master of the universe, the One who does good and gives life, bless all the donors and intercessors for Sabra’s projects. Grant them protection, health, good livelihood, and joy of heart, and multiply merit for every child who will study, grow, and shine in these classrooms. May blessing rest upon the work of their hands, and may it be fulfilled in them: “He who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay his good deed.” Amen.

May you always merit to be among the givers—in love, wisdom, and joy; may blessing rest in your homes, and may you see delight from all your children and grandchildren for every act of kindness you have done for the children of Israel.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you, your family, and your community.

    Update #52

Blessing of the New School Year, Light for the Children of Israel

Shalom and blessings to you, our beloved brothers and sisters around the world.
On the first of September, as the official school year began in Israel, we – the Sabra team – had the privilege of joining a very moving event at the local school.

The school principal invited us to take part in the opening ceremony of the year. The little first graders, wearing small crowns on their heads as a symbol of being the “crown of the future” of Israel, entered the school gates full of excitement, accompanied by their parents and, in some cases, also by their grandparents, many with tears of joy. In my heart arose the verse: “Children’s children are the crown of the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.” (Proverbs 17:6).

The principal and the teachers spread a large tallit and blessed the children with the priestly blessing:
“The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24–26).

I too was asked to give a blessing on behalf of Sabra to all the children. I said that they are the future generation of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and that they must be careful not to become a “generation of the desert,” but rather a generation of faith, blessing, and holiness. As it is written: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6).

I blessed the parents that they may have the wisdom to raise their children in the way of the Lord, fulfilling what is written: “Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.” (Psalm 34:11). I also blessed the teachers and educators that they may guide the children of Israel in the path of truth, in learning to do good, and in drawing closer to the God of Israel. As it is written: “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13).

At the conclusion of my words, the principal, filled with emotion, came up to me, hugged me, and thanked me. And then came the greatest surprise: his voice was heard blessing not only the State of Israel and the IDF, but also “all the friends around the world – those who love the God of Israel and the people of Israel, who support and pray for Israel and for this school.”

After the ceremony I immediately decided to share this same excitement with you and bring to your hearts the good deeds that you are full partners in – through action, prayer, and encouragement. For you know our Father, our King, our Lord – without Him we are nothing.

    Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, we thank You for the children who begin a new year of learning with joy. Bless them with wisdom and with the love of truth. Bless their parents with the understanding to raise a faithful generation, and their teachers with the strength and spirit to instill a path of kindness and holiness. Protect them from all harm, and may they grow to be “a light to the nations.” AMEN.

And especially we pray for our believing friends around the world – strengthen their faith, fill their homes with peace, and let all their prayers for the new year be fulfilled for good.

As the new year begins, we bless you: may this be a good and sweet year, a year of prosperity and success in all the work of your hands, a year of unity between Israel and all who love her, a year of joy and blessing in every home and community.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you, your families, and your communities.

Update #51 – Standing Firm in Truth

    Drop of light from Zion

Recently, a woman from the Netherlands wrote on Facebook that *“Jesus was a Palestinian” * and even ended with the words: *“The Holy Land is Palestine, not IsraHELL.”*

These words are not only a distortion of history but also a distortion of the Word of God.

📖 The Bible and even the New Testament testify clearly: Jesus was a Jew, born in Bethlehem of Judea, a son of David. The term *“Palestinian”* did not even exist in His time. It was invented by the Romans a century later to erase the name of Israel.

Such hatred tries to darken both truth and God’s Word – but light is always stronger than darkness.

And now, to us who love the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob:
We must not fear, not break, and not be silent. Let us continue to stand faithfully with Israel.

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6)

I even I am who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies? And of a son of man who is make like grass Isaiah 51:12

Together we shine the light of truth against lies. 🌟

    Investing in the Next Generation

“All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.” (Isaiah 54:13)

Our friends and partners, faithful believers and lovers of Israel around the world,

“One soul, one heart – together we walk the path laid out for us by the Creator, Lord of all the earth.”

This month, we are privileged to share with you a unique and inspiring project that tangibly expresses your love for the people of Israel and God’s divine plan for them: supporting a school that urgently needs assistance, enabling students to learn in comfortable and respectful conditions.

We all recognize that educating the young generation is key to the future of the people of Israel, spiritually and morally. Thanks to your open hearts and generosity, students now learn in pleasant, fully equipped classrooms, with new equipment that includes:

    • 250 complete student kits containing backpacks and stationery (42 Euro each).
    • New textbooks specifically for 25 children in need (costing 425 NIS per child, approximately 110 Euro).
    • 15 new study desks (180 NIS per desk, approximately 46 Euro).
    • 30 new chairs for students (120 NIS per chair, approximately 31 Euro).
    • Two new magnetic whiteboards for classrooms.
    • Two air conditioners for two classrooms (each costing 2000 NIS, approximately 516 Euro).

Your contribution is more than an investment in walls, equipment, and furniture – it is an eternal investment in the souls of the children and future generations of God’s people. Every student who sits in the classroom blesses you in their heart, and you become full partners in writing a holy and inspiring story of love for Israel.

We see this as a wonderful expression of true and blessed partnership between Jews and believing Christians, lovers of Israel, in sacred work that sanctifies the name of the Lord.

Thank you on behalf of the children, their families, the teaching staff, and all the people of Israel.

Prayer: May it be God’s will that all who support the study of the Word of God and spiritual values experience satisfaction, joy, and salvation in all their endeavors. Amen.

Blessing: May those who have opened their hands find the gates of Heaven opened wide for mercy and kindness. Amen.

Special blessing for those who pray: May those who pray for us and for the donors be abundantly blessed by God, both spiritually and materially, and may all their prayers be accepted favorably. Amen.

“I will bless those who bless you” (Genesis 12:3). May this blessing be fulfilled in each of you who express through your love and prayers the holy connection with the people of Israel.

“Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!” (Psalm 14:7). May we all soon witness the complete redemption of Israel.

May the blessing of the Lord be upon you, your families, and your communities.

UPDATE # 49 “Children of Hope”

Children of Hope: “Great Shall Be the Peace of Your Children”

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13)

Shalom and blessings, dear friends around the world,

In a time when sirens and running to shelters replaced school bells, the children of Israel completed a particularly challenging school year. Now, as the summer vacation begins, many children—especially those in schools we support—do not have the means to go on trips, join camps, or participate in activities like other children.

One of the schools we support is a religious Orthodox Talmud Torah that receives no support from the government or municipality. There, the children sing, pray, and learn Torah joyfully. We help them with food, non-digital social games, study materials, and classroom design.

Recently, the school principal turned to us with an urgent request:
Can we help build two portable classrooms—nicely designed and air-conditioned containers adapted for learning?
The cost of construction, setup, and basic equipment is about €13,000.
To this, we must add furniture—tables, chairs, and cabinets—at an additional cost of around €12,000.

We are praying that we will be able to help so that these children can begin the school year with the knowledge that they are not alone. That around the world there are brothers and sisters who love the God of Israel and the people of Israel – His chosen nation – who pray for them and support them in love.

Joy in the Heart – A Family’s Blessing with Their Children from Amsterdam

While I was in the Netherlands, we received a generous donation from a wonderful family in Amsterdam – a large quantity of LEGO games. We invited the school principal to collect the gift. To our surprise, he arrived with six excited children. The children danced, sang, and praised the Creator with open hearts and shining faces. They sang Psalm 100:
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”

We filmed the joy, the blessings, and the dancing, and the children asked me to write a letter of thanks and blessing to the donors. There is great power in a child’s heartfelt blessing—with a spark in the eyes and tears of joy.

    Verses of Blessing and Encouragement
    • “One who brings joy to children is like one who builds a whole world.”
    • “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.” (Based on Psalm 112)
    • “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

    A Short Prayer

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
Bless Your innocent children, the teachers who teach with love, and all our brothers and sisters who extend a helping hand.
Open the gates of blessing and provision so we may build more classrooms and create a space worthy of learning, singing, and prayer.

And for all the donors – may it be Your will to fill their homes with light, their families with peace, and their hearts with joy.
Reward them double for all they have given, and allow them to see blessing and satisfaction in all their endeavors.
Grant them strength, grace, and kindness – and may peace be within their walls and tranquility within their homes.

    Final Blessing
May you be privileged to see good fruit from your labors, and joy in all your actions.
And wherever you are – may the Divine Presence rest upon you.

“Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.” (Psalm 122:7)
“May He send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion.” (Psalm 20:2)

Warm blessings from the Holy Land,
From the House of Good Deeds,
On behalf of the children in need of every bit of help –

Bringing comfort to the hearts of children through brotherly love,

Between Birdsong and Broken Tombstones – A Journey of Memory and Identity

Shalom and blessings to you, beloved friends around the world.

Today I write with a quiet tear. Not from new pain, but from a deep encounter with the past—still present, still breathing, still crying out in the pastoral silence.

Our tour began in a magnificent church in the town of Sternberg. We entered quietly and saw in a side corner a small plaque and a memorial candle – a reminder of the pogrom that took place here in 1492 against the Jews. That year – the year of the Spanish Expulsion, the Inquisition, forced conversions, and mass exile – shook the entire Jewish people. Over 150,000 Jews were forced to leave their homes. And there – in a quiet corner of the church – only a faint memory remains.

From there we continued to the town center, to the place where the synagogue once stood. A structure built in the mid-19th century, destroyed by the Nazis in 1939. I stood there and recited Kaddish. I thought of those Jews who longed to be equal citizens, to be accepted as part of society – but they were rejected. They forgot – and sometimes we forget – that the Jewish people are not like other nations. “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God… the LORD has chosen you to be His treasured people” (Deuteronomy 7:6).

The path to the cemetery passed through an empty trail among tall trees. Nature was quiet, birdsong filled the air – as if nothing had ever happened. But the earth speaks. The old train tracks tell what the signs conceal – the way to the death of thousands. The trains carried our brothers and sisters to the camps, all in the name of philosophy, progress, and music. How could a culture of beauty and depth sink so low into industrialized murder?

Finally, we stood at the gate of the Jewish cemetery. I looked ahead, but could hardly see any gravestones. Only shattered fragments, broken, disgraced. And I ask myself – who thought the tombstones were an eyesore? This place has held Jewish life for centuries. “Remember that you were a slave… and the LORD your God redeemed you” (Deuteronomy 15:15) – but this time, they tried to erase even the memory of the slaves.

I am not alone. I am with a group of Christians who love Israel. Their faces are pure, their hearts open. They walk with us, sharing the burden of memory. And this memory is not nostalgia – it is a command. “Remember what Amalek did to you… you shall not forget” (Deuteronomy 25:17–19). We are a people who remember to protect, who understand our mission by knowing our past.

The Creator is returning us to the Promised Land. It is a process, not a miracle. Not without pain. We continue to pay the price – with the blood of our sons and daughters. But God’s promise remains: “Your children shall return to their own borders” (Jeremiah 31:16). And we will not let go. “I will not let You go unless You bless me” (Genesis 32:26). Faith is our inheritance. Our hope is not political – it is prophetic.

God has promised strength to His people. “The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace” (Psalm 29:11). And we believe – peace will come only through truth.

    Prayer:

    Master of the Universe,
Shine Your face upon Your people Israel.
Remember the blood that was shed, the tears that were wept, and the prayers offered from broken hearts.
Strengthen those among the nations who stand with Israel, and bless those who support her in love and truth.
Bring us back to our Land in peace, and open the gates of mercy and remembrance.

A Drop of Light from Zion

    Sabra Update #47

“How Great Are Your Deeds, O Lord!” (Psalm 92:5)

Shalom and blessings to all our beloved friends around the world,

Every time I am amazed anew at how the Creator of the world Himself seeks those who follow Him, touching their hearts to help and participate in the blessed work Sabra accomplishes among those in need.

Indeed, we live in challenging times. Though routine may prevail, it is a routine marked by ongoing struggle. Israel currently faces significant hardships compounded by an aggressive and deceptive media, often turning lies into truth and truth into lies. Yet, amid this confusion, faithful believers stand firm, fully committed to the Word of God and His eternal plan for Israel and the nations.

Thanks to your prayers, encouragement, and generous contributions, Sabra continues to accomplish far more than words alone can capture.

    Supporting Education

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

    1. Bible Quizzes: Sabra annually hosts exciting Bible quizzes attended by enthusiastic students, parents, local authorities, and rabbis. The enthusiasm during these events reaffirms the timeless importance of God’s Word. This year, exquisite Bibles were awarded to winners, underscoring the spiritual significance.
    2. Backpack Distribution: In May 2025, we distributed backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in need. Witnessing their joy was profoundly moving for everyone involved. By August, we plan to distribute an additional 350 backpacks ahead of the new school year.
    3. Continuous Student Support: Sabra provides ongoing aid five days a week and consistently works to enhance classrooms, ensuring all children feel valued and supported.

    Helping Holocaust Survivors

“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.” (Isaiah 40:1)

    1. Transporting survivors to clinics and providing translation support.
    2. Regular provision of food and medical supplies.
    3. Home visits to encourage survivors, especially celebrating birthdays with treats, fresh produce, companionship, and heartfelt encouragement.
    4. Celebrations of biblical holidays and commemoration events like Passover, Shavuot, and Holocaust Remembrance Day, offering survivors the valuable opportunity to share their stories, profoundly touching both survivors and international friends attending.

    Supporting Families in Need

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” (Proverbs 19:17)

    1. Weekly distribution of food packages to families from Ethiopia, Holocaust survivors, and new immigrants. A particularly moving example is our regular assistance to a family of five children with severe disabilities, whose gratitude touches us deeply every time.
    2. Continued support for Ethiopian-origin families and other families in need.

    Our Beloved Volunteers

“Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments…” (Psalm 110:3)

Recently, we were blessed with volunteers from Germany and Finland, whose hard work significantly contributed to Passover preparations and food distributions. May God richly bless these dear volunteers abundantly, granting them continued strength, joy, and divine favor in all their endeavors.

    Jewish Studies and Roots

“And many peoples shall come, and say: ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord… and He will teach us of His ways…’” (Isaiah 2:3)

    1. We held a significant Zoom seminar for brothers and sisters from Papua, strengthening their biblical understanding and connection to Israel.
    2. Sabra participated enthusiastically in a massive gathering of over 50,000 believers, where our dedicated Netherlands team effectively presented Sabra’s mission, bringing greater awareness and inspiring increased support.

    Year 5786 Calendar Project

Friends worldwide continue to help edit and print the Sabra calendar for 5786, designed to inspire prayer and blessing for Israel, Sabra, and the individuals we serve. While these calendars are not sold, they are distributed as blessings, encouraging prayers for Sabra’s mission. Should you wish additional calendars as gifts for your community, please reach out to our local representatives.

    Prayer for You:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for each beloved friend who partners with Sabra. Bless their lives abundantly with peace, health, joy, and provision. Strengthen their faith and grant them continued wisdom to follow Your perfect will. Protect them and their families, and let them experience Your unending grace and favor. Amen.

We deeply appreciate your continued partnership, prayers, and faithful generosity. Please share the story and mission of Sabra with your family, friends, and community so that together we can amplify this profound impact.

May the blessings of the Most High be upon you, your family, and your community.
